PwC’s Responsible AI Toolkit provides a ‘suite of customizable frameworks, tools and processes designed to help you harness the power of AI in an ethical and responsible manner – from strategy through execution’. These frameworks focus heavily on avoiding biases and demonstrating ongoing governance and regulation.   

Google focuses on four corner stones of responsibility: Fairness, Interpretability, Privacy, and Safety & Security. By working hard to ensure equitable access to AI for all and implementing robust privacy measures that adhere to strict data protection standards, they are making strides in reducing bias in AI and safeguarding users.  

By embedding Responsible AI principles into every stage of the AI lifecycle, Microsoft ensures that its AI systems uphold ethical standards and societal well-being. They are also working hard to make AI decision-making processes understandable to humans, helping to build the publics trust in what some perceive as a complicated, and potentially scary, new technology, and empowering users to identify and mitigate potential biases.
